Getting back to where i was a mth ago ...

Sure feels good to be back in sg after being away for 34 days in the sunny land downunder :) ...

Thank God that all are back safely in sg ... despite:
1. many were first timers there, it was challenging n stressful making sure all are able to adapt to the environment, drive the BIG vehicles (manual transmission!) ...
2. making sure the girls can drive the Toyota Landcruisers ...
3. some had car skidding encounters, but no accidents *phew*
4. some wallabies jumped across our paths, but no roadkills (except for one little one :()
5. some fell sick *cough cough*
6. some were cranky ...
7. weather was hot mainly

Thank God the support was successful and all are happy with the results and achievements ...

I'd the time on a sunday to go to a local church at yeppoon (Wesley Methodist Church), people are nice and service is simple ... message was gd too from the local pastor in the small church, urging the people to be ready for Jesus' 2nd coming ...

i brought the guys ard the places too ... going to sunday markets, sight see a little here and there, feed the free-ranging animals at Cooberie Park (wallabies, kangaroos, emus, chickens, ducks, peacocks, koala, a little white pony, donkeys, cassowary ...) ... and of cos, some time lying in the sun at the yeppoon beach ...

It was a good 3 day break at Gold Coast too after the work phase ... went to Dreamworld (played the exciting rides) .... and of cos, shopping and eating ... the funny thing is, we only went to the beach on the last morning before we headed back to Brisbane for our flight back to sg ... drove a pretty cool car as well, Ford Falcon XR6, very good pickup, but not as fuel efficient as I'd like it to be ...

tink it'll take me a while to get the photos from the many cameras that snapped tis and tat (and me of cos) ... tis is one of the rare trips that I didn't take many pictures (had to borrow colleague's digicam) ... wonder if i shd go hunt for a new cam to replace my faulty one ... kinda cash-strapped now, one too many bills to settle after the trip ...

Now, it's time to orientate back to life in sg ... it's gonna be Christmas soon (so fast!) and 2006 will be ending soon ... now, how wld it end? Good I believe ;) ...

Getting ready for ... Christmas :)
