P. Dayang ... a quik dive getaway

Yup, was away at pulau dayang for the 2nd time within a month ... with ru-tian, dianne, melvin & chin huei ... was kinda interesting and challenging "dive leading" a bunch of newbie scooby doos (scuba divers .. in an affectionate way) ... and watchin out for them whenever i can (not that they need it, they're adults, not babies ... though some stil need to hehe) ... here's a shot of them, under the sea, see if u can recognise who's who..



A brief intro of pulau dayang, it is approx 65km off Mersing (NE coast of JB). It is a rustic island with basic amenities (air con rooms, but no hot water for bathing) ... a quick place for those who need to breath compressed air and dive the beautiful underwater world ... The funny thing is, I seem to be seeing more divers rather than fishes lately, scuba diving is taking off in a big way huh ... anyway, it's probably the cheapest and nearest dive site for busy singaporeans to get to for a quick wkend getaway ...

This is my 4th dive trip of the year (1st: Similans, 2nd: Sipadan, 3rd and 4th: Dayang) ... where should i go next? ... Great Barrier Reef? Manado? Redang? ...

I've learnt a couple of interesting lessons thro' diving ... Being aware of the surrounding ... spotting possible hazards ... Slow & Steady ... Think before Acting ... Watching out for people ... managing situations while under pressure ... Come to think of it, I learnt to be patient and confident ... and of cos, appreciating the beauty of creation ... Thank God for the ocean! ... You'll realise how insignificantly small you are ... and how powerless you are when waves and current overwhelms you ... God is like compressed air, as long as the supply is there, I can breath and live ... no God = no Air ... now, ain't that a bad situation to be in eh ...
