Ukulele god

Mad Rush till Christmas

I was expecting December to be rather quiet, especially at work, with only church and personal stuff to do... but I was wrong. Colleagues go on leave (on the reason that need to clear leave because no time to clear earlier in the year?!?! No comments, I live by the principle of clear leave regularly throughout the year, so don't have to cramp at the end. Though, it'll probably be otherwise, when I've kids to be with ... hmm, might as well declare June and Dec family holiday season)

Besides endless work at office and covering people ... My other list of stuff in Dec:

1. Remembered me and my dar's 1st yr tog ;) [This is a joy]
2. Preparation for Candlelight service (4 practices in all!)
3. AMK Hub 1st Service (Helped out on 2nd keyboard to form a fuller band), much preparations to do.
4. FACT CAMP 2007 (helping out as photographer)
5. AMK Hub Performance (how did we get into this? Scrambling to prepare for 23 dec performance)
6. Christmas Service (I'm on keyboards..)

I've not mentioned my personal stuff to do list yet!!

God help us in this season (or is it just me?) ... It's a Season to be Jolly, a season of Thanksgiving, a season of peace and joy ...

so, prepare thy hearts for Christmas. And here comes 2008!

Test of True Love

someone quoted before, the test of true love is when the male (or female) starts to put on weight ... would you still love? love genuine, instead of bonded by marriage or relationship?

tonight, i saw a pair of middle aged parents, pushing their son who's afflicted mentally and physically on a wheel chair ... is that a test of true love? ... that's an exhibition of love, that's tested by fire and is so genuine ...

I look at the kinda love that I've ... for loved ones, family, friends ... am I loving? ...

And, it's been two days since my darling called (while she's overseas at conference) ... two possible reasons:
1. Too busy (but can still sms during breaks?)
2. Forgot ... her occasional habit..

Or, mis-comm ... who's to call who? ... then again, her mobile is probably on "Very SILENT" ... so, can't hear.

Sigh ... though it's only a couple of days, I'm just not myself...

*patience* ... *love* ...

Cry Out To Jesus

Cry Out To Jesus
Words by Mac Powell / Music by Third Day

To everyone who's lost someone they love
Long before it was their time
You feel like the days you had were not enough
when you said goodbye

And to all of the people with burdens and pains
Keeping you back from your life
You believe that there's nothing and there is no one
Who can make it right

There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus

For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They lost all of their faith in love
They've done all they can to make it right again
Still it's not enough

For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
You try to give up but you come back again
Just remember that you're not alone in your shame
And your suffering

When your lonely
And it feels like the whole world is falling on you
You just reach out, you just cry out to Jesus
Cry to Jesus

To the widow who struggles with being alone
Wiping the tears from her eyes
For the children around the world without a home
Say a prayer tonight
